A Deep Green Tiled Bathroom in Nottingham

The old room had a panelled bath under the window, a pedestal basin, a bidet and a WC, with checked blue and grey tile splashbacks, carpet on the floor and a tongue and groove ceiling. All of it was taken out.

The end wall behind the bath is a deep green gloss tile, laid in narrow vertical stacks from the bath to the ceiling. The bath has a white panel, a brushed brass hinged screen and a brushed brass thermostatic shower above it, with a rain head and a handset on the riser. The rest of the walls are a pale stone effect tile, and the floor a large terrazzo effect tile.

The basin is a white round bowl with a textured outside, sitting on a marble effect top over a wall hung wood effect drawer unit with a brass knob. A tall brushed brass mixer serves it, and a round brass framed mirror hangs above. Villeroy & Boch, Aqualla & Adamsez, Roper Rhodes and Tissino were used on this job.
