Our business has been a long time in the making, Darren has been learning and honing his knowledge and craft since completing his plumbing apprenticeship many moons ago.

In Darren's early years working on all areas of plumbing, he really enjoyed the transformation of a newly installed bathroom. These were specialist adaptions that were rewarding to know the new bathrooms would make people's lives a little easier. The transition from plumbing to bathroom renovations, was a clear step to take because of his detail- oriented work ethic and understanding of the ease for having a full company to complete the job to the upmost standard. 

 

We frequently get asked about how we came up with our company name, whilst the backstory is slightly sad, because of it, our brand now has a link to an amazing person. Darren's Dad used to be a builder and always encouraged Darren to venture out on his own. Unfortunately he fell ill and sadly passed away before he could see the success of Darren's business. After his passing, Darren was clearing the garage and came across a business card his father had created for a father and son establishment. Finding this gave Darren the final push to begin his business that his Dad had hoped for.

 

His father used to draw Darren and his brother swans when they were little combining this with there surname Golding, led to the birth of Goldswan Bathrooms.  We felt this was a great way to honour George and keep his memory alive throughout each renovation.
