A Dark Floral Bathroom in Nottingham

Before we started, the room had navy tongue and groove panelling to dado height, a patchwork of patterned floor tiles, a roll top bath on feet, a pedestal basin with a towel bar and a corner shower cubicle. All of it was stripped out.

The bath is a back to wall freestanding tub, set against a floor to ceiling floral tile of cream roses and grey leaves on a charcoal ground, with a brushed brass mixer on its rim. The other walls carry a gloss grey metro tile to half height, finished with a brass edge, and a pale pink paint above. The floor is a herringbone wood effect throughout.

The same floral runs above the vanity, a dark freestanding unit on legs with drawers, a black top and an undermount basin, under a brass framed mirror set between two globe wall lights. The shower is a separate enclosure with a sliding glass door, tiled in the grey metro to the ceiling, with a brushed brass rain head and handset. A white column radiator carries brass towel bars. Roper Rhodes and Kudos were used on this job.
